Parmigiano Reggiano is one of Italy's finest products and considered the "King of Cheeses". Parmigiano DOP follows strict guidelines in that it must be made in the regions of Reggio-Emilia, Modena and Parma and from 100% raw cow's milk and aged for at least 18 months. Production of Parmigiano is controlled by the Consorzio Parmigiano-Reggiano to ensure that each wheel is held to the highest standard. Our wheels are aged for a minimum of 30 months and have developed those beloved crunchy crystals throughout the paste. Parmigiano has a distinct sweet and fruity aroma, it is nutty, salty and full of umami.
