Prairie Sunset - Pasteurized Cow Milk, Monroe, WI
This is a new cheese on the Wisconsin artisan cheese scene, a young Gouda inspired by the staple snacking Goudas of Holland but made with the high quality milk from America’s dairy heartland. Aged about 6 months to the perfect semi-hard texture, Prairie Sunset has mild and crowd pleasing flavors of toasted nuts and browned butter with a slightly sweet finish.
